I Dammusi del Carrubo are located in the southwest part of the island of Pantelleria, specifically in the Scauri district, just 1.5 km from the sea. The structure dates back to the 1700s and was originally made up of the main house, a warehouse for capers or raisins, an area with a mill for grinding wheat, and a stable for horses. In 2009 it was restored, maintaining the ancient architecture and giving life to four Dammusi: Carrubo, Maestrale, Libeccio, and Scirocco.
All the Dammusi have independent entrances, outdoor showers, barbecues, TV,
free WI-Fi connection with integrated Alexa, and midweek bathroom linen change. They are about 800 meters from the center of the district, so easily reachable even on foot, where you can find a supermarket, restaurants, bars, bakery, pharmacy, and shops. Furthermore, the location of the Dammusi is perfect for exploring the island and reaching the most beautiful coves in just a few minutes.
Finally, all the Dammusi have large furnished terraces, from which you can overlook the Scauri district with the soaring bell tower of the church, but above all, lose yourself in the unforgettable sunsets and starry nights, and often see the African coast in the distance.
